Mortgage loans are available from Moroccan banks (Credit du Maroc, Banque Populaire du Maroc, etc...) using land equity as collateral.

Transport communications are good either by road and air from Marrakech and there is a brand new international airport at Essaouira.  A new dual carriageway is presently being built between Essaouira and Marrakech, and is already at an advanced stage , with his majesty the King of Morocco expected to inaugurate the first completed section shortly.

Work has started on the high speed french TGV train - running between Tangiers and Agadir, via Essaouira and Marrakech (contract signed by French president Sarkosy and Moroccan government - CLICK HERE).
